I believe every frame has a heartbeat — a rhythm that can move people, make them feel, make them remember. My journey began with a paintbrush in Kolkata and a dream that stretched far beyond the canvas. After studying Fine Arts at Rabindra Bharati University, I discovered that stories could be painted not just on paper, but on screen — with light, motion, and emotion. From writing my first television script, Sergeant Rohit for Doordarshan, to supervising VFX on over a hundred feature films, my life has been a constant exploration of how vision becomes emotion. My extensive work experience includes serving in world-renowned International studios such as The Mill, Technicolor, where I worked on projects based in Los Angeles, London, Paris and New York, and learned how technology and art can merge to create magic. Today, through Black and White Colours, I continue that pursuit — crafting films, ad stories, and visual experiences that live between imagination and reality. Every project is a new world, every frame a new language. Because in the end, cinema isn’t just what we see. It’s what we feel — in black, white, and every colour in between.
